Adz and Clayton talk about shaping surfboards, board design, how to surf on rail, how Clayton came into surf coaching. Also Adz and Clayton talk biomechanical movement translations that tap into a wave’s energy, turning using centrifugal force, they also have a discussion on riding single fins and twin fins.

Crest Podcast & Pagan Boys Collaboration

Crest Podcast and Pagans Boys Crossover Edition :

TGSP has been huge fans of the Crest Podcast since it's debut moment, so I simply had to do a crossover episode. And why not make it a triple? Also joining TGSP and Crest, for this fetish of surfing talk are the 'Pagans', Pat Langdon-Dark, Callum Thomas and Logan Nicol.

In this three-way surfing extravaganza, the Crest Podcast, TGSP and Pagans embark on a review of the 2021 international pro surfing season, followed by a pertinent discussion about what an up-and-coming surfer from the British Isles might need to do if they want to get to the next stage.

Given the Pagans are there or thereabouts themselves in the competitive world, and the Crest guys Tom and Rhino have a close bond with the Porthcawl locals (being a local themselves) makes a compelling and humorous episode.

Jordan Desborough

Rus McDonagh is a vanlifer, Vloger, Coffee Company owner and a Podcast host.  Rus is a very unique guy, after serving in the Royal Marines, then being employed as a soldier of fortune on the Close Protection Circuit, he decided to leave war fighting behind and start a Coffee Company.  Not only that, he also decided to sell his house and travel the world with his  wife and two dogs.

1 Limb Surfer, Martin Pollock

Martin Pollock is an Army Veteran and Ambassador of Operation Surf. Martin suffered the loss of 3 limbs after an IED strike in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. Martin tells the story of how he found surfing and how the lifestyle, culture and ocean have helped him through a harrowing time.

Micah Nickens

Micah Nickens is the Marketing Director for Global surf brand Dakine.  He is a humble Hawaiian, a family man, and an amazing surfer.  Micah was one of the innovators or aerial surfing in the 90s and early 00s and has influenced a generation.  He is also an Uncle in his local community and coaches the likes of current WSL Women's World No 1 and Olympic Gold Medalist Carrissa Moore and former WSL Mens World Champion John John Florence.
